Well, I finally did it. I entered a jewelry contest.
Bead Dreams 2010. It was really hard for me to do. I am extrememly intimidated by the competition in the metal clay category, however, a good friend encouraged me to just do it. So I did, and I'm glad. I entered two of my keshi bloom necklaces. One is in the metal clay division (top left, titled "keshi bloom"), and the other is in the finished jewelry (right side, titled "shanghi"). I am not a competitive type, and never really rocked at sports or anything, yet I find myself really wanting to win this. Maybe its time I actually try to win something. Either way, I am glad I did it. It feels good to try to win at something.
