The Best Little Bead Box and Bead Table Wednesday

The Best Little Bead Box(s) are at my home.

I am so honored to have been picked for Round Two.

PLEASE check out the BLBB blog and read about the boxes journey, the generosity of my fellow beaders and artists, and how this box will be turned into cash for Beads of Courage....a touching organization dedicated to helping children with cancer.  You can watch a wonderful video about it here.  (and I HIGHLY encourage to watch it!)  I will post more details about the boxes time at my house later this week.

Bead Table Wednesday:

I am getting ready for two shows, two days each, back to back, beginning this weekend (Peddlers Village Strawberry Festival this weekend, and The Bethlehem Fine Arts Festival next).  This shot is actually taken after some light cleaning last night!  LOL!  I am working on bracelets today and some more earrings.  Wish me luck.  I am also trying to change my display around (always!!) and need two days to work  on it.  So jewelry making must be finished today!!!

What's on your bead table???

The Best Little Bead Box

Have you heard about the Best Little Bead Box?  You can read about it, and how it started here if you haven't.  Its a wonderful and fun bead swap / fundrasier!  It was created to raise money for Beads of Courage.  If you haven't heard of Beads of Courage, please, watch this great segment below- it is such a wonderful organization....and you may just never look at beads the same way again.

Why am I telling you all this?  It's because I am honored to have been chosen to participate in round two of the Best Little Bead Box!  I cannot wait to swap beads, destash my studio and help to raise money for this wonderful cause!

I feel blessed, humbled and  VERY excited........things like this make it feel like Christmas all year long!  Thanks so much to Jennifer Van Benschoten of VanBeads and Carol Dean Sharpe of Sandfibers, for coming up with this idea.  I think it will inspire others to raise money and awareness for Beads of Courage, and for those of us who get to participate~ well its just plain fun to boot~!!
