Remember this?

Remember the giveaway I had with this heart pendant?

Well, Erin Strothers won, and she made this wonderful, awesome necklace!

I just love what she did with it.  I love the softness of the ribbon, contrasted with the rough of the nuggets.  The design is just perfect and I am so happy to see my heart pendant in such a beautiful piece of jewelry.  Thanks for letting me know what you did with it Erin!!!  You can check out Erin's other creations in her etsy shop.

Erin is entering this in Bead Star 2011.  You can vote for your favorites on their website between April 25th and May 17th (I think).  How fun is that????

I started to list a few polymer hearts in my etsy shop Artisan Accents.  Tonight and tomorrow I will be listing many components, some ideas of how to use them, a giveaway AND a coupon to use while shopping.
I hope you will join me for the fun.

Some New Things

Just a couple things I have made with my new components, set to launch the first week of April (if not a little sooner).

This bracelet is called Rosetta.
I really love these beads ~ they go so well with the bronze!  I got them at Berks, and I now wish I had bought all 5 strands they had instead of just three.  They are short strands (8") and I just know they won't last.  Aren't those beads pretty????  They said they were Chrysoprase, but I totally know they are a dyed jasper.  I don't care, they are awesome.

Next I made this one, and I just love it.  It wears so well, I think it may never come off my wrist (I have to test the durability, right?)
This bracelet is (actually one that is very similar) will be listed in my etsy shop later today.

I hope you like the new designs.  Nothing fancy really, just cool beads and fun artisan focals.  Easy Peezy Lemon Squeezy, as my 6 yr old would say.

Feeling Beadiful

I have been feverishly working on making Bronz Beads, charms, & components.  Making components, instead of just jewelry has been VERY freeing, and I am feeling just lovely, or "beadiful" if you will.  I am using them a lot in my own jewelry, but want to make enough to offer them for sale.  I am offering some sneak peeks today, and stay tuned for another giveaway with some of my brand new products!

I am also doing some polymer clay hearts, because they are just too fun to make!  The rest of the polymer in this first photo was used to make molds for my bronz clay focals.
And then here is a kiln load, right outta the fire.  They are not even cleaned off yet.

So, for feedback, tell me what your favorite form of artisan component is.....earrings, pendants & focals, charms, clasps, ect....................AND what shapes are you drawn to?  As you may see, I go for circles everytime!
