I can't believe its been a year (or almost?) since Kristie decided to do a design team. Its been so much fun to work with her components each month. She is a talented artist, passionate about her designs and quality, and I feel blessed to have been a part of this ride. I am not sure if she is going to continue the design team into a new year or not, but it has been very fun. Thanks Kristie!
This month I got a set of her charms that I had favorited in her etsy shop long ago. They are really not colors I work with, but they are beautiful, and I can't help but drool each time I see them. I am so happy she chose them for me. I decided to just go with earrings, because these should be the star of the show, the colors are amazing.
I used recycled sari silk to add a pop of that yellow that makes those blues stand out.
I love them. I almost want to keep them just for inspiration.....hanging by my desk.

These are beautiful Staci. They certainly leap out of the screen and are a lovely diversion from your norm (I mean that in a good way). I haven't shopped from you in a while now but you never know....... ;) <3
ReplyDeleteI know- I am slowly adding color. I have added it to my beads, now it needs to find its way into my designs a little more. I do love these- because they are so different for me!
DeleteThose are awesome! The colors really are spectactular. Great job!
ReplyDeletevery pretty Staci. Make sure to check out my post, if I ever get it online.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous Staci -they bring to mind Van Gogh's Starry Night painting.
ReplyDeleteI adore that painting. Maybe thats why I love these so much!
DeleteLovely! I like the little ribbons in there. I never think to do things like that! Thanks for sharing your sweet earrings. Enjoy the day. Erin
ReplyDeleteLove those Staci - great colors and I love the addition of the sari ribbon!
ReplyDeleteThose charms are beautiful and I love what you did with the silk! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteReally? You favorited this color in my shop? I did not know! The pair in my etsy shop? I dunno? Wonder if they are still there or if they found a new home. This pair was just made.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought I was being super sly by picking out a tricky color combo for you.... HA! I love what you did. I love that pineapple color!
Thanks for playing Staci! I was planning on one more month... because I have some saggar fired beads I would love to challenge everyone with.... maybe I should open up to new designers for this last challenge? hmmm.... now I'm thinking...
