Since I am wiped out after two weekend long shows in a row.....there is nothing going on at my bead table, as you can see!!! It is just a mess waiting to be put back into order.
Well, I do have this sketch, for a future idea, that may be done in the next month for the Sea Glass Festival, I hope!
Last week I was working on bracelets~ so, I am giving away this wonderful (love love love these) butterfly heart bracelet focal in bronze, slightly curved to fit comfortably on your wrist, with four holes to connect to. It has a lovely blue-ish turquoise patina on it from Miss Ficklemedia, and is sealed for longtime wear. Its value is $18.00. Please note, It is only the component- it is not a finished bracelet.

I probably couldn't name just one favorite part of spring... the cool, fresh, dewey spring breezes...the renewed energy from the longer days....the return of the birds and bugs...and color!! fresh green grass and the lovely first spring blooms are a sight for eyes that are sore from winters dull gray and brown!
ReplyDeleteI tweeted your contest too! It's quite a lovely piece you are giving away!
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers after the long gray winter. They fill me with joy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very cool butterfly. Thanks for doing a giveaway!
Beautiful butterfly - I love the colour. I guess that is also what I love about spring - the return of colours - lovely yellows, purple, pinks, and so on. Not to mention all the fresh green leaves coming out all over.
ReplyDeleteI "blogged" about your giveaway as well - thanks!
ReplyDeleteA lovely butterfly! I love the patina color.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about spring (and there are so many) would have to be the tulips--my favorite flower.

I like the colorful flowers and also the fragrance from them in the air. And veggies in the garden! I love the color of the patina - I hope to try out some Missficklemedia patinas some day soon! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe smell of the air -- and butterflies...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful butterfly to flutter by! I love spring & all the pretty colors that just pop up everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful butterfly. My favorite part of spring are the five-lined skinks that come out once again. They are fairly large for yard lizards and have a cobalt blue tail. Here in southern Georgia they also usually have a head that is red. They will blow your mind the first time you spot one scurrying across the patio.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to some pics of this crazy lizard

I love your work Stacie! I would say I like the cooler weather of spring, which is long gone in Texas by the beginning of May.
ReplyDeleteI love the reawakening of all my flowers! I love to take a tour almost every morning to see the progress
ReplyDeleteWatching the birds fly around outside my office window... seeing grass finally... rain storms... flowers everywhere! These components are so very lovely! Makes me really itch to get out all the patinas that I bought from MissFickle but am not sure of yet... Enjoy the day!

What a lovely colour in this one!
ReplyDelete-You know, after some hot days, it was so lovely to smell the rain this morning ;-D A warm day, though.
beautiful butterfly!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about spring is seeing all the trees in blossom, I love it most when the blossom starts to fall and it looks like its snowing while the suns shining bright!

There are so many things I love but I think my favorite thing is all the shades of green I see out of my breakfast nook room. So many shades - it is so gorgeous. Love the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteHey all- blogger lost some of your comments, but no worries, I printed it out the other day, and have the ones that are in the gap. So I will have to draw names by hand!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, picking a favorite part about Spring... there's so much happening and growing that it's hard to pick! All the birds returning (they sing different songs when things are green, I think), the dewy mornings, the warm sunshine, all the flowers... the list goes on and on... but, my very favorite part is that one day, after days and days of closely watching the tree buds turn from fuzzy brown to green, when suddenly everything is so green and leafy. It always surprises me and makes me so happy after a long brown and white winter.
ReplyDeleteYour butterfly is beautiful (butterflies... there's another thing I love about Spring!). :-)
My favorite thing about Spring is....that every week different flowers bloom....straight through summer....I love that!
